Operation clean our beaches
On Saturday (July 15, 2023), Centre for Culture and Environment Promotion in collaboration with the Nigerian Surfing Federation organized and unveiled the “Operation Clean Our Beaches” Campaign with Beach Clean Up, Tree Planting, Drug Abuse Sensitization/ Enlightenment and Sticker Unveiling – with representatives of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Nigerian Military, Tarkwa Bay Residents, Nigerian Surfers, Media Practitioners, Sports Stakeholders, Environment Stakeholders & other dignitaries..More cleaning continues on other beaches across Nigeria in the days ahead.
